I Suoni delle Dolomiti at Prati Col: music at the foot of the Pale di San Martino

I Suoni delle Dolomiti takes music where only trails can reach. On 9 September 2026 cellist Mario Brunello, the festival's artistic director, and violinist Gilles Apap play at noon at Prati Col, beneath the walls of the Pale di San Martino. The concert closes the Trekking dei Suoni, three days on foot in the company of the artists.

The festival

High-altitude concerts, reached on foot

Founded in 1995, the festival reached its 31st edition in 2026, running from 24 August to 3 October in high-altitude settings across Trentino. Audiences walk to the concerts along trails of varying difficulty: the walk is part of the experience.

The Prati Col concert, in San Martino di Castrozza, is the final stage of the Trekking dei Suoni (7–9 September), a multi-day walk with the artists, paid and by reservation.
